The STRIDE curriculum is in line with the Wargrave 'I am' curriculum and children in STRIDE, where possible, experience a blended approach where they are integrated into their cohort age groups with the STRIDE provision as their base. Their curriculum is highly differentiated in order to enable children to make progress in line with their own developmental path. STRIDE adopt the TEACCH principles which provide meaningful and structured teaching. The classes are small in size and have a greater staff ratio than the rest of the school; however, the children placed in STRIDE spend some time around the rest of the school and can transition independently or with discreet support.

The curriculum offer also includes life skills and sensory opportunities.
