Hi, I’m Miss Sheffield and I’m delighted to lead Design Technology at Wargrave.

What I love about Design Technology is that it involves lots of other subjects and allows us to draw upon subject knowledge and skills within Mathematics, Science, History, Computing and Art.

Our curriculum is designed to allow children to be creative and to design, make and evaluate real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts. Design Technology allows us to take risk, be reflective, enterprising and resilient. 

As children progress through the school, they will build on pervious knowledge and skills of designing and producing a range of different products.  At Wargrave, we encourage our children to explore the different technologies that are operating within the world today and how they impact us. We appreciate the beauty and wonders of the technologies in the world and at Wargrave, we fully embrace opportunities for children to be in touch with a sense of awe and wonder.
