Science Week

On 15th April, we returned to school to our annual science week! To kickstart our scientific learning, we held ‘Forensic Science’ workshops for years 1 to 6. This gave them the opportunities to apply real-life science by solving a mystery crime – it was a lot of fun being detectives!

We also had visitors from Sellafield for years 2 and 4, who took part in electrical circuits workshops to support their prior learning. Throughout the week, teachers incorporated a range of other science activities into their lessons, ensuring that enquiry skills were encouraged amongst their children.

Overall, the week was a success, and there are lots of photographs – take a look!
